Both fifth-grade classes at Sutro Elementary School (Ms. Chen's class and mine) are excited to plan for our three-day-two-night end-of-the-year trip to Yosemite National Park in May 2023. This experience will be dedicated to bringing 44 youths and 10 chaperones out of the classroom and into national parks, allowing them to immerse themselves in nature, and living and learning alongside their peers. For this program, we need a total of $23,590, which covers tuition, lessons and materials, food, lodging, and transportation. We hope to have your monetary support so that we can expand learning opportunities and methods for our students to learn about science and social-emotional development.
