There are many activities that require students to work with a partner to complete reading fluency checks. The class uses a scripted program, so any creative changes that I can make help my students to stay engaged and motivated. By making the reading classroom a welcoming and exciting space, students will increase performance and become confident readers. My goal this year is to provide choices in seating (or standing!) So that students can become responsible decision-makers in their own education. Unfortunately, the school day does not provide seconday level students with many choices. Some students need those choices to be more success
