The students of my school love reading and are excited to visit the school library to checking out books. Being a Title 1 school, the students do not have the resources and materials at home to foster their love of reading. Getting students interested in reading while in elementary school is critical as well as beneficial to their success throughout their years in school. One way to foster this love of books and reading is through book series. When students get captivated by a story line or character and they will want to read more. Popular book series in my school library will give students more options.
