Our class is learning about plants. We will explore their life cycles, their parts, and compare their growing rates. We will use the clear growing medium to observe and measure root growth. Then we will make leaf rubbings to compare different species of plants, and to incorporate art into their learning. Our class needs planting supplies to study the growing habits of plants, and then use those plants in different ways, such as food, and decoration (art). We will incorporate some of the plants into our school garden, and encourage students to have a home garden by sending them home with plants we start at school.

About my class
