Robinson middle school does not receive title funding even though many of our students come from low-income homes. Since we are not Title 1 we do not have funding for a summer program like many other middle schools in Wichita. We are trying to create the same opportunities for our struggling students with our limited budget and would love to have a small library of books for them to choose to read everyday and then be able to keep as their own. Students that are invited to attend our summer school program will get to have recreational reading time every morning with whatever books they choose that meet their interests.
