These seating options will help some of our more active students stay seated and engaged throughout the day. Our class transitions a lot within our room, but even with all of the movement that takes place, it can still be tough to sit down and work without wiggling or shuffling our feet. These materials will not only benefit the students using them, but the class as a whole. My students are focused when all of their needs are met. For some, meeting their needs can be as simple as a comfortable place to read and for others they need help keeping their bodies still. The bean bag chairs will make our library area a cozy place to enjoy reading. The chair bands will help our feet stay quiet during work time. The seat cushions will assist students in remaining seated and still throughout the day. All of the materials together will help our classroom stay quiet and actively engaged.
