The six DigiLand tablets will be used every day in our classroom. Our Fourth grade class will have direct access to devices which will allow them to explore the world and explore Common Core Standards in Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Our focus will be documenting our journey through individualized learning journals. During the year we will add new content throughout the year. As the year progresses we will experience tremendous gains on our expedition to college. Giving low-income students access to new technology is an investment in their future. These tablets allow students to expand their world and increase their knowledge base. Documenting what the students have experienced will fuel their knowledge base and spark the potential within them.
