Our students will have the opportunity to ride the Learning Express train to learn about locomotive engines and their history in the mountains of North Carolina. They will also enjoy a day of fun with animals, live shows, and engaging games while incorporating our math content gained this year such as time and money management. We try each day to connect our students with the world outside of our classroom. What better way to do that than by taking them on a field trip? This is a trip of a lifetime for our students. Many of our students have never experienced Tweetsie Railroad and we would love to be able to enhance their learning with this engaging trip.

About my class
