My classroom is a place where students don’t just learn about history and government—they experience it. I challenge students to think critically, ask bold questions, and support their ideas with evidence. At West Prairie, I’ve built a structured, high-expectations environment where students take ownership of their learning. I am passionate about helping students understand not just how government works, but why it matters—and how their voices fit into it. Students debate, write, analyze primary sources, and make real-world connections that build confidence and skill. As we launch our first AP U.S. Government course, this is more than a class—it’s an opportunity for students to step into college-level work. My students know they will be supported, challenged, and pushed to succeed.
