My students will be introduced to coding this year. They will be learning what it means to have a code, what constitutes codes, and how coding knowledge will prove beneficial for them not only intellectually but competitively in their future professions. My students will learn how to form simple linear and binary codes, along with patterns through the use of color combination. They will learn what colors and patterns will allow the Ozobot to be manipulated and perform tasks. Students will reproduce initial coding sequences then through scaffolding, will begin to create their own all with the help of the Ozobot 2.0.
