The addition of these books to my classroom library will allow students to find a book they can connect with while enhancing the print-rich classroom I seek to create! My classroom library is somewhere that students can visit each day to find stimulating and thought-provoking books to enjoy during their free time. I continue to add books to this library each month, but there are always books that need to be replaced and new award-winning books being published. "Reading is to the Mind what Exercise is to the Body". All of these books have been chosen with my students and their interests in mind. I have asked for student suggestions, searched for award-winning novels, and used online educational sources to find the best of the best! With the addition of these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to free read something they are interested in!
