Hi! My name is Ms. Katie Truillo and I am a Special Education Teacher. I teach 7th and 8th grade in a self-contained classroom, and I have an empty sensory classroom. I would love to provide an area where my students can retreat to and calm down with bean bag chairs,a swing, and things for them to play and interact with. I have a deaf student, a Down Syndrome student, and a couple students with Autism. I have so much space to work with and all I have is a table and chairs in that room. It would mean so much to me if I could provide an area for them to unwind and relax in.
