Being a first year teacher is tough, I'm not going to lie. Already we have so many things to worry about on a daily basis, and not having the necessary materials or supplies that you need to create a successful learning environment should not be one of them. Over the past few years, I have accumulated quite a bit of supplies. However, it is just not enough. I am asking for your help with supplying my classroom with manipulative's that will benefit my students not only this year, but in the many years ahead. My students love praise. They love to be commended on their work in the classroom, whether its academic or behavior. I love seeing how excited my students react when they have reached a goal. Thus, stickers seem to be the best motivational reward. The interactive whiteboard easel will be useful to create engaging lessons in which my students can have a front row seat while seated on our classroom carpet. The math manipulative's I'm asking for, the number bond template and ten frame set will be used on this whiteboard to create a hands-on approach that I know will meet the needs of all of my students. I also need the clock class set, the Expo Markers and the reusable dry pockets, to teach my kiddos about the engage my students in lessons regarding clocks and time. We all know how hard it was to learn time. By having these materials, I am hoping to make those concepts a little easier on my class. Timing is everything in a classroom. I have to keep tabs on time 24/7 to make sure that we are doing what is expected in the allotted amount of time. That is why I need the awesome Mega Timer!
