I am a teacher with a brand new classroom and an almost nonexistent classroom library. Students deserve to see themselves in the books they read and have a comfortable and safe space to do so. Diversity in our classroom books also means that my students will have a chance to learn new perspectives and step into someone else's shoes. With the addition of more books, more storage is needed to hold them. A new bookshelf will be a great asset in my new classroom. The flexible seating in our classroom library will be a great tool for students to take learning into their own hands.
