Many students have a set backs due to COVID and the impact it has had on all of our lives. The novels I am requesting will hopefully respark a love for Reading that many students don't have. Due to covid many students have developed anxiety. I hope the desk bands will help them to have away to move around, and release that anxiety in a positive way as they work. LEARNING NEVER STOPS. Even in the middle of a pandemic we have to teach our students that they still need a good education. The love of Reading can help with this. I want to help my students connect with the characters of these novels and feel like they are a part of a world that isn't always in crisis.
