My campus is a Title I school where the majority of the students are considered at risk due to economic status. The aftermath of Hurricane Harvey has increased the economic strain that many of my families face. Although, my students may come from a challenging home environment they come to school every day eager to learn. That love of learning is what fosters the strong bond between my students and I. Despite any hardships, they continue to work towards their goals by enhancing their academic skills in order to better their future.

About my class
