Each of my students has a "toolkit" or a binder where they keep all their materials for reading. Each student sets individual goals for their daily and weekly reading. As they read they are asked to stop and jot or make notes of what they are reading based on the skill or strategy we are currently learning. In order for my students to keep track of the supplies they need everyday, I would like them to each have a pencil pouch in their toolkit. This will allow easy, quick assess to the supplies they need each day to support reading!
