Students will benefit greatly from a projector to see visuals of what we learn. The projector will make it possible to increase vocabulary through visualization. Students will better comprehend the world in which they live by being able to see videos as we "travel" around the world. The projector helps to demonstrate new concepts and provide visuals for all learners, especially ELL and SPED who need the additional visual support. The projector makes it possible to model any new concepts that are being introduced. The projector can display information found on the web and I am able to model finding academic information on the web which is a necessary 21st century skill. In order to go beyond the walls of our classroom, it is essential that I am able to project images and videos of our world. The projector will help me start the conversation about anything from genres of writing to the history of women in South America. In addition, I can display my work models as well as student models of work done in class.
