In our leveled library we have no books for our upper grades. This year we are starting something called DYAD reading. This is where a benchmark student and a strategic student, or a strategic student and an intensive student share a book and read together. One student points and they read at the same pace. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student motivation, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement in reading this year. DYAD reading will be new this year, so we need some fun and interesting books that the students would love to read. We need to continue to help them develop the love for reading even in the upper grades.
