In this pandemic we have had so many stresses and we have seen a huge increase in anxiety in our elementary students. I have provided a calming room where students can go when they are feeling sad, anxious, stressed, or angry. I am looking to get some supplies so that students can utilize a variety of strategies in order to pick the strategy that is best for them to regulate their emotions. The goal is to get students to self-regulate by coming to the calming room when they need to use it, identifying a strategy they want to try, and then after successful implementing the strategy returning to the classroom with their emotions under control. Please help me in this endeavor by providing supplies for our stations to be used in our school's calming room.
