We have been provided an opportunity to see a play based on the story Flora & Ulysses. I would love to do a literacy study, using this book, so they can compare and contrast the book and the play. Working in a Title 1 school, low-income school, my student's parents are unable to help provide their students with the necessary materials we use daily in our classroom such as pencils, glue sticks, markers, a pencil sharpener, and scissors. As a result, the responsibility falls on me, as the classroom teacher. I do my best to make sure we have everything we need but we go through things quickly, which ends up being extremely costly. Any help we can get would be greatly appreciated by our class!
