During an average school day, my students are engaged in various types of individualized learning. 60-90 minutes of this learning time is on the computer. Right now they can interact in online work while actively tuning out the noise from their neighbor's computer. They have become used to this because we have not had quality headphones to help them block out distractions. Since a successful classroom is one where all students can learn at their own pace, headphones will allow students to achieve their online learning goals uninterrupted. Without this simple tool, my students have not been able to fully take advantage of the online programs that have been offered.
