The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will help teach hands on experiences. The students will be able to express themselves with their hands. Some students have trouble drawing or painting and the clay would help the sensory problems and moto skills. Clay has a uniquely therapeutic quality that I have seen settle and calm children. Theses materials will help students who struggle with positive expression and creative problem solving. Each student would be able to have their own sense of pride and fulfillment when they create their own artwork. The students would be able to bring home a piece of art home, that can last for years to come.
