I am asking for 20 10 inch Insignia tablets for our classroom. I have a classroom of 27 eager second graders but only 2 working computers in the classroom. These tablets would allow my students to access many reading and math apps daily. These tablets would allow all my students access to Accelerated Reader at all times. Students would be able to immediately take AR test once they finish a book if we had these tablets. Right now I have 27 students trying to use 2 outdated computers to take their Accelerated Reading tests. Students would also be using the tablets to work on math skills through some great math apps. One app that would be used daily would be Sumdog. This site allows students to work on their on level of skills through very engaging games. These sites make my struggling and high learners all feel like all stars when they accomplish a goal on their level. I know that the addition of these tablets will enhance my students learning experience!!
