Athletes struggle with keeping their uniforms clean during the seasons because of a variety of reasons, including, but not limited to, not having access to a washer and dryer at home, not having the supplies to wash with, or not knowing how to wash, etc. Donations to this project will allow the athletes to wash and dry their clothes at the school during designated times. The athletes will experience washing, drying, and folding their own uniforms, which are necessary skills in their adult life. This will be life long learning experiences for our girls and boys. Additionally, the athletes will have even more pride while playing on the field or court in clean uniforms. Even though academics come first, sports do matter at TDMS.
