School chairs just aren't comfortable. If we have trouble staying seated and focused for long periods of time as adults, can we really expect the same from our students? They come to school and are expected to stay attentive, for eight hours a day. Something as simple as a more comfortable seating option can make a huge difference in enabling students to stay focused and do their best work. These yoga balls allow students to bounce a little and get out their jitters, while still participating in class. With these yoga balls, students will be more inclined to bounce ideas off one another and do their best work in class. Students don't get nearly enough time for recess these days. They end up bringing all this energy into class, with no way to manage it effectively. These yoga balls will allow them to get out their energy while still keeping them in the classroom so they can learn and grow. There is nothing more I could ask for to keep my students' brains healthy and focused.
