If funded, my project will be used to introduce these non-fiction and fiction titles to students to new regions, cultures, and parts of the world. I hope my students will be so consumed in reading, they are able to escape the reality of their own lives and problems. The students in the Pasadena community will be able to escape their own communities and explore the world through these book titles. By expanding our classroom library I hope to foster a love of reading. Students will be able to explore the lives of presidents, marine sea life, famous events in world history.
