As young learners, we spend most of our day learning together on the rug. An area rug in our library will help to establish an inviting and engaging atmosphere. The rug will be utilized by students during whole group instruction, as well as independent reading time. This area rug will provide an inviting area for students to engage in independent and partner reading. The best way for students to become better readers is to choose texts that are meaningful and spend time reading. This area rug will enhance our library by providing a comfortable and inviting space for students to read, learn, and grow! My students need this rug so they are able to sit comfortably in the library. This rug will also be a place for my students to read to each other and encourage their love of reading and literacy.
