My students are an inspiration to local high schools in the area. They come from low socioeconomic backgrounds, they have families who never attended college, and most of my students will be a first generation college student. Without laptops, these students to not have the opportunity to file for Financial Aid, which means they may not have the opportunity to attend college! Having Chromebooks will make a huge difference in our community. These students have the drive and desire to succeed, it is our job to encourage and enable their success! Chromebooks would allow our students opportunities that they have never dreamed of.
