I selected an iPad with WiFi and also a gift card from TPT Store. My classroom teaching involves functional academics, social and life skills. Currently my class does not have an iPad that is assigned to us. Most of my kiddos have limited fine motor skills, so they do well with touchscreen technology. An iPad for the classroom, will provide the students with the skill of navigating and using this technology for communication, interactive reading, and sometimes for leisure during down time. Also during this period of virtual learning due to Covid19, my kids need digital resources that will help in teaching an effective online instruction.
