Some of my students are not only new to the school but new to the country. English is not the first language for my students. The students would use these Kindles to download apps for learning and translation purposes. Students would be able to use these across the curriculum and in all classes. The students would use the Kindles to help them to understand their assignments better by use of translation apps and research opportunities. They would use the app to take a picture of the assignment or questions to translate it. This will help them be able to understand the content of the lesson and to participate in the lesson.
