The arts and crafts materials that I am requesting will be used in our classroom as an incentive for the students that have demonstrated progress in their academics, throughout the week. However, they will also have the opportunity to be involved in art activities where they will use their writing skills to express themselves and become problem solvers. My goal as a teacher is for the student to be proficient in all academic areas, but also through creating things with their own hands and be able to explore and use their imagination. Thank you for believing in our students and investing in their future. Hands-on learning is the foundation of STEM. STEM aims to foster inquiring minds, logical reasoning, encouraging creative and collaboration skills. I believe that these materials will encourage my students to use their imagination through art, science and math.
