Many of my students are not read to at home, creating a delay in literacy skills compared to same-aged peers. This is why I love to plan literacy-based speech and language activities. The books give my students access to classical stories they may not have heard before and the props help these classical stories come to life! The storytelling kit includes props to the classic stories "Brown Bear Brown Bear," "Rainbow Fish," "The Napping House," "The Very Hungry Caterpillar," The Snowy Day," and "It Looked Like Spilt Milk." These books and props will help my student's comprehension skills, retelling, sequencing, and overall language development.
