"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." -Dr. Seuss- I Can Read With My Eyes Shut! Our school has a diverse population that is representative of the community we serve with a high percentage of Spanish speaking students. As Dr. Seuss so cleverly stated in his book, "I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!", reading takes you places. This project will provide my class with a listening station that students can use to develop fluency during guided reading. With this project, they will have grade level texts to listen to and read along that will model what fluent reading sounds like. My hope is that this project my students places in their reading, and your partnership will help make this possible!
