We love exploring with different mediums in my class. We are not shy about getting our hands dirty and into whatever we can to make all sorts of different types of art work. We love working with markers, crayons, pencils, and pastels, and of course paint. When students walk into my classroom and see that the paint is out, their faces light up with joy. We love the process of applying paint to the canvas and mixing the colors along the way. Painting has to be one of the kids favorite mediums to work with. New paint brushes would mean that we can explore different techniques in applying paint as well as a variety of tools for more advanced paintings. Students will get to paint landscapes and seascapes and so much more. Painting is something that everyone enjoys and finds rewarding once a painting has been completed. We would love to have "happy" paintbrushes to continue our creativity in art!
