"La unica cosa que nadia puede quitar, es la Educacion" The only thing that none can take from you is your Education! This is my favorite quote ever. I teach second grade at Cathedral City Elementary in Cathedral City, California. This will be my 25th year in Early Childhood. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my job. I keep my expectations high. I believe that every child can and will learn. Empowering and Encouraging students helps them to achieve. I believe in the power of the human spirit. The most important thing to build in a classroom is Community. Community is what drives us to be better and do better. Children learn to compliment each other daily. At the end of each school day, we gather on the rug, sit in a circle, and give compliments to the child next to us. We are a Bully Free Zone. Trust is essential. Coping skills are a must. Respect is always expected. Thank you for believing in my students as much as I do.
