All kids of all ages, learning levels and backgrounds love to explore. STEAM allows our students to explore and learn in a variety of manners (not just paper to pencil). Hand-on exploration is the best way to close all ability gaps and let all kids have the opportunity to explore a concept in the way THEY learn. These STEAM tubs will allow me to teach a science concept, such as wind resistance when building a house (think The Three Little Pigs) because it will provide items to teach with; and also allow the students to use these same items to explore the concept with.
