Mighty Gators in Action! I teach Kindergarten in a low economic school based in North Lauderdale, Fl. I have been at this amazing school for 5 years after being surplus from another school out west 7 years. I came to this school for a reason, the children I encounter everyday need my high energy and love that I am not fortunate yet to have my own. All the children LOVE to give me hugs when they see me and I have a great respect from the parents. However, our parents background come from no jobs, high school parents or single parenting homes with many children at homes. Very different than the most parent homes out west. I try my best to provide for my children, however as we know teachers do not make much. I also have bills to pay. My students need headphones for 1:1 iPads for daily learning in class.
