Using a document camera allows an easier ability to model, demonstrate, and explain directions using the same materials students already have in front of them. Electronic documents are computer-based, where a disconnect from navigation to application is problematic. Connecting the document camera to my laptop, and projecting the visual on a Smartboard or promethean board will allow for broad viewing angles and visual aids like never before. A document camera will help my class with a variety of curriculum materials. The ease of use of a document camera also allows students a closer and larger look at various activities.
