Students will be able to use manipulatives and the light cube in various activities. The light cube and accessories will be used during center times to enhance learning. Activities will be differentiated to meet the needs of all of my students. The light cube, manipulatives and accessories will be used to include STEM activities. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Activities will allow them to learn about important concepts in Pre-K. Students will be apply to STEM skills using the light cube and manipulatives. They will incorporate fine motor, problem solving and social skills. Students will use the sensory tray to discover new textures and how things move. Since the light cube is rechargeable, we will be able to move the light cube and sensory tray to the carpet area or another spot in the room. This will be exciting to include STEM activities throughout the school day. Your generous donations will provide my students with the materials to apply these skills. They will be so excited to use the light cube, sensory table and all the manipulatives. It will be a wonderful addition to my classroom centers and is going to be used daily. This will make learning more exciting and purposeful for my 18 students immediately!
