Students learn through technology. Since our school has very little digital technology, this will excite and allow my students to present their ideas through our smartboard. Students will be able to highlight and record their work throughout the year to share with their classmates and parents. During parent conferences, students can present their digital recordings to their parents to explain their understanding. Students utilize their math and science journals throughout my classes. When presenting their understanding, this allows them to quickly share with the class their drawings and ideas on the SmartBoard. Other students can highlight and discuss parts of their presentation through the Elmo. This leads to increased learning and deeper discussions.
