Our 1st graders will have improved learning with manipulatives at their fingertips. A globe, a clock, the geometric shapes and money will give them so much more than just a picture and an explanation. With more manipulatives and technology all the students will have an increased chance of being fully engaged and eager to learn. The document camera will allow all 28 students to easily see and better understand what is being taught. The I-pad will add one on one opportunities for ELL students to build vocabulary and strengthening their reading skills. This is an opportunity to help students who need it most and give them basics that most students already have.
