My students love using technology and need some motivation for writing. I am hoping to use the Surface Pro for them to write and create books of their own. The Surface Pro will allow them to put their stories onto the computer, add illustrations, and print them out to make books (with our new printer). Then they can share their books with their classmates and families. I think this will incorporate their love of using technology (and give them a unique experience with it that they have not had at school or home) and provide a great incentive to have them write, write, write! (...and read!) How proud they will all be of themselves!
