My students all have autism and experience sensory overload which causes them to be unfocused. They need a place to relax and regroup so they can be successful at learning. We need a trampoline, swings, and a spin disc to help regulate their bodies. My students with moderate to severe autism need a place they can go to calm their bodies and minds in order to continue learning new skills. We need a place where they can go to find solace from the sensory overload they feel during the school day. This room will give them a place to take a 5-10 minute break from the classroom and use this equipment to reset their senses and return to the classroom ready to learn. Please consider helping us out. Supplying the students with equipment they can use to meet their sensory needs will help them so much.
