Modern tools of the trade are essential to effective lab work.In today's world, students are expected to be prepared for college or technical training by being familiar and efficient with up to date measuring devices. Measurement is the foundation of experimental and applied science. Students will use the new equipment to study isotopes, unknown element identification, density, conservation of mass, quantitative analysis of chemical reactions, and thermochemistry. The new equipment will afford my students the best laboratory experiences available. Students thrive in a hands-on learning environment. I want to cultivate independent thinkers, confident learners and citizens prepared to be successful in modern society.
