Our classroom is very limited with books that reflect who the students are culturally and what is current. Most of the books that we have are fantasy fiction and are in bad shape. I wish for the students to have a library that is rich in nonfiction books and informational text. It makes sense to have a new library that allows the children to have a better choice of books. I'm requesting leveled Book Bin book sets and a Leveled Library Mobile Storage Cart. I am also asking for subscriptions to TIME For Kids magazine. There are children that need the quiet area space where its comfortable and books are easily attained. There also are children that require audio books as part of their special eduction needs. I would love the Comfy Couch Listening Center that will hold the audio and books and give a separate space that children can listen and follow the books. I'm also requesting a new area rug and Giant Pillows for flexible seating choices. Having this new extensive library will benefit all the children and promote a love for reading and learning.
