By supporting this project, you will be giving my students the opportunity to build on to their learning through dramatic play. Our students are learning how to play pretend and are learning about different roles that people play in their homes, in the school, and in the community. Students will spend countless hours exploring and discovering, while utilizing real-life kitchen and will let their imagination run wild while role playing different community workers. The process of pretending builds essential child development skills. When children engage in pretend play, they are experimenting with social and emotional roles in life. This also assists in learning language.
