Technology is integral in our society and although my students are part of our society, they are easily left out due to their disabilities. Navigating the different components and elements of a laptop and computer can be extremely overwhelming and frustrating for them. These iPads will allow my class to have their very own first set, which will provide them with daily opportunities to access the same programs and curriculum as their general education peers. iPads make the learning process more engaging, fun, and exciting, while also equipping them with vocational skills to help them be successful members in our society.

About my class
