My students need technology in the classroom. We have three desktops, but only one of them works, which puts my students at a disadvantage to the rest of the school. We need six Chromebook laptops in the classroom to help them develop their technology skills and grow in their online learning paths. My students work in centers three days a week and during their centers, when we are able to access computers, the students are continually using educational websites such as abc mouse and their online school program to help them grow in their learning paths. It would be a wonderful opportunity for my students to have access to technology that they don't have readily available on an everyday basis. Most of these students are from low income houses and school is the only place they are truly integrated into technology on an educational level.
