I am asking for materials to help my students practice and implement CPR and AED techniques in order to improve their understanding of how to save a life. The CPR dummies will be used to work on compressions, focusing on the proper depth. The face shields will be used to prevent the spread of pathogens between students. The AED will be used to help students gain real experience in the case of the heart stopping through scenarios and real time practice. The BioQuest Lungs Demonstration Kit will be used to show the effect of smoking on lungs. With the growth and development DVDs I will be able to provide another training tool for students to understand the life cycle in addition to our classroom text book as well as give them exposure to the miracle of life.
